Therefore, first to answer the questions state the policy. “I am sorry sir/ ma’am it is our store policy that all refunds must have the customer receipt. I understand that you are unsatisfied with the product and I am very sorry for that. There is one solution I can offer you within our customer service policy. I can offer you in store credit.” If the person still becomes belligerent and you are not a manager it is a good time to say, “Let me find a manager for you.” Often times this is what the customer is aiming for and this is the answer a company would likely be looking for.
